First hour 9th Science with Mr. Olson
The students need their planners daily, a spiral or 3 ring binder with a section just for science, a pencil, and a scientific calculator.
2nd hour Skills Development class
The intent of skills development class is to work on each student's individual education program as well as complete daily work. It is hoped working on study strategies, notetaking, studying for tests will be generalized into every class.
3rd hour-Planning/Preparation Time
4th hour Read 180 teamed with Ms. Koch
In this class the Read 180 program will be utilized in helping students become better readers. The students will read outside of class novels chosen and need only bring these and a planner and a pencil to class daily.
5th hour Skills Development
The intent of skills development class is to work on goals set in each student's Individual Education Plan as well as applying skills to complete daily work in regular classes, plus mastering study skills.
A new reading program, Fusion Reading, will be utilized in both 8th grade Project Success English and 7th grade Project Success.
6th hour 8th grade English teamed with Mrs. Teel
Students are required to a have a 3 ring notebook just for English, a pen, pencil, their planner daily, dividers, as well as loose leaf paper for the binder.
7th hour 7th Grade English teamed with Mrs. Ralston
In this class a three ring binder is required with loose leaf notebook paper. Dividers are provided for this class. A pencil, free reading book, and planner should also be brought daily.
